When producing a video, there are 2 approaches:

🏆 Results-Focused

This prioritizes the idea first, cost second. We collaborate to develop the best creative concept possible for a nominal fee. Then we determine the budget needed to produce that top-notch idea.

💰 Budget-Focused

Here, we must work within a fixed budget you provide upfront. So we focus on identifying the strongest idea achievable within those constraints.

It's important to know which path you prefer before we begin. Our goal is always to create the best quality video for you, on time and on budget.

Our Recommendation

We highly recommend investing significant time upfront in branding, ideation, scripting, and storyboarding. This approach has three key benefits:

STEPS

📄 STEP 1. BRANDING we request a brand brief from you that outlines your brand story, your elevator pitch, your target audience, your unique value proposition, your 5-year vision, what sets you apart from your competition, and your visual brand identity. [logo, fonts, colors] If you don’t have this, not to worry. We’ll add it to the service. 

💡 STEP 2. SCRIPTING developing the concept, scripting the storyline & storyboarding the visuals based on the brand info from the brief. 

📋 STEP 3. PRE-PRODUCTION casting, location scouting, scheduling, hiring crew, renting equipment, sorting all logistical, legal, and financial matters in preparation for a smooth and efficient shoot.

🎬 STEP 4. PRODUCTION producing the shoot with the cast, crew, and client on-locaion or in-studio. This is where all the hard work and planning comes together to make magic.

✂️ STEP 4. POST-PRODUCTION editing, color grading, sound design, voice-over recording, music composition, titles, graphics, animation, and VFX.

📦 STEP 5. FINAL DELIVERY the final high-resolution video file and all project source files are delivered.

TIMELINE

  • 2-6 weeks for most projects from inception to final delivery.

  • There can also be run-and-gun 1- day shoots and a final version delivered in a few days for a simple rush job.

    • Working with sustainable entrepreneurs, indie tech startups, digital product platforms, online course creators, education platforms, big publicly traded brands, corporate firms, and everything in between.     • Over the course of twenty years, and hundreds of videos for dozens of clients, I’ve built a trusted track record of delivering amazing work. So, millions of dollars. Nah, just kidding, but it costs real money. Typically, 8K USD is a good starting point, though we also work with a lot more. Upwards of 50K to 200K. If you’re a startup with an idea we would love to support, we can talk about equity and other arrangements.

  • Do you work with outside agencies?

    • Certainly! We’ve had great experiences working with other agencies. However, we also bring our own creativity to the table, while also enjoying working with other creatives at the top of their game.

  • Do you do animated spots?

    • Absolutely. We mostly work in live-action or live-action + animation, but if the story we want to tell is best told with animation and it’s something you’re looking for, and if there’s an opportunity to try something new that translates into an amazing showcase for your brand, we will jump at the chance.

  • Is COVID-19 a problem

    • Not at all. We are COVID-compliant. There are many workarounds that we employ to make sure we can execute your video, spot, film, promo, and explainer right now and in the best way possible.

  • Is that it?
